FLIP - World Top Four
FLIP has been chosen among the top five finalists in the E-Learning Guild’s global e-learning competition. (Company/Institutional Developer category). In this contest, we competed against e-learning companies from across the world. “It’s a cross between the Academy Awards and the Nobel Peace Prize,” said the eLearning Guild’s Heidi Fisk in describing the competition, which the Guild co-organized with LINGOs. FLIP was honored at the Learning Solutions' national conference , attended by over 1000 participants, on 25 March at Orlando, Florida, USA.Its course was demonstrated to participants as well. This contest, organised by the E Learning Guild (a worldwide association of e-learning professionals) in association with LINGOs (Learning for International NGOs), invited individuals and companies to build e-learning courses for 18 participating international NGOs. 71 topics were listed , and over 30 entries submitted. We chose to develop ‘Risk Management in Micro Finance’ for Accion – a leader in Micro Finance. Our course will be used to train Accion staff and partners around the world. With this, we have not only proven our quality, but also started giving back - right at the outset! We'll put up some links and pictures soon!
